I'm so glad you're having fun with the spirals! And I really enjoyed having you in the class. If you are ever moved to share photos of what you're doing, I'd love to see what you've been up to.
I love the concept of organic growth rather than sewn together scrumbles. I've always seen your work that way even if it really wasn't!
I'm still grappling with focus in both reading and knitting/crocheting. I LOVE Elsbeth. So glad she got a spinoff. I also love Matlock and Diplomat. Try Brahms Piano Concerto #2.
Next year would you consider an in person class in the Triangle?
Thanks Diane, sometimes it is and sometimes it isn't. And I should clarify that I have absolutely nothing against sewing scrumbles together, I do it all the time, I just prefer for the lines to blur so that you can't tell where one ends and another begins. It's a challenge.
I'm glad you asked about an in person class in the Triangle next year, I'm actually mulling over some ideas about that very thing. I'd like to run it by you when I get things a little more fleshed out. I'll be in touch!
I’m always so inspired by your work, Lisa. Hoping I can figure out how to take one of your online classes in the new year.
Thank you, Stephanie. It would be great to see you in a class!
I’m working on some easy holiday crochet that’s a bit mindless. The week really did me in
Yeah, it was rough. Are you making gifts or holiday home decor?
I’m making some crocheted Christmas trees. Groups of three as gifts. For just a couple of good friends and my mom
Thank you for sharing your beautiful work, process, and what else you’re enjoying!
I’ve been enjoying creating spirals since your class last month, and I’m excited to keep learning and experimenting.
Thank you for the reminder that creating something can be helpful and grounding in difficult times.
